But what choice do people have. I was treated rudely by a doctor on your staff because I dared to question the use of a particular medication. if a doctor is going to introduce a new or different medication to my current regime I think they need to explain why. I learned about 20 years ago that doctors do not always know the best. I had to leave DCH and go to UAB to get proper care. I have always found the nursing and aid staff to be very caring. RecommendedI had to go to DCH Northport early Monday morning with a stomach virus. They were awesome. I got iv fluids and an antibiotic shot.i felt much better. The whole staff from the check in ladies to the RN’s to the doctor were fantastic. Thank you so much for helping me
My experience with the staff on last Saturday at DCH in Northport was terrible. I was misdiagnosed and had to go back to the hospital 2 days later to the main DCH. That experience was better.

RecommendedSo far the care from the Dr’s and nursing staff has been great. All though I feel everyone has the right to visit sick love ones , the hospital lobby should not be a hang out !! Babies and small children laying all over the place !! I’m sorry but there should rules pertaining to this . Most everyone I’ve met has been somewhat friendly except the cafeteria staff. VERY RUDE !! Not helpful or friendly !! My purchasing food there is job Sucurity for them and the least they could do is fake a smile !!!!!!
