I love the Dayton Air Show. I went years ago for the first time with my dear friend and we was in one of the chalets and I loved it. I then worked the air show for three years with the Fairborn High school athletic boosters and it was amazing. It didn't feel like work actually because I mostly rode around on a golf cart delivering water and programs to our post we had set up around the air show. I really miss being there for sure. The best
the show is a shell of what it use to be. a show that use to draw hundreds of thousands from all over the country now draws 50,000 if lucky. I know things change but this show is surviving on it's name alone. there hasn't been a good show there since 05 & the last great show was 03. not worth the trip from NJ any longer.
The Airshow is awesome especially at the home of aviation Dayton, Ohio.
Despite the bad weather the week leading up to the show and the unfortunate accident involving the Thunderbirds leading then to cancel their displays, it was a fantastic show just like it always is. Having photo tour/pit passes, parking was super easy. There was nothing that went severely wrong with the show at all on the day I attended.
