I am so disappointed. I brought two airplane loving little boys and we loved the airshow. We got there at 9, saw some of the static displays, and then settled in to watch the show. They were enthralled. When the show ended, we headed over to see the static displays. By 4pm, all the lines for the big planes were closed and they weren't allowing anyone else on. All the big static aircraft EXCEPT the Coast Guard plane were done by 4pm. I had to explain to my kiddos that even though we still had two hours left, they couldn't get... read more
I'm sure I would enjoy it if I ever get to the show! Been stuck in traffic for over an hour, and missing all of the shows we just spent $200 on chalet tickets to see. Extremely disappointed in how they conducted the traffic and parking. You'd expect an event that's been happening for decades would have it better sorted out by now.
Airshow great...whoever is in charge of parking...needs FIRED!! It's amazing that they would allow a backup on I75 and allow side road traffic go Un fettered...brilliant.
Awesome show today! From the selection of aircraft both in the air and on the ground, to the great emcee work and musical programming, to the heartwarming heritage aerial duet w/ the F35 & P51, we really enjoyed the show! The atmosphere was nice, event staff helpful and I don't believe there is a bad seat anywhere in the house. Saw some negative reviews... ignore them, people should know to show up on time (or early) for a big event like this... No parking issues at all great time got parked at high school at 830 ,got on shuttle at 840 inside gate at 910 great time thus far
Literally the worst mismanaged event I've never been to. We literally waited an hour and a half in traffic to get to the "official" parking lot like where we paid $10. As soon as we paid we noticed the attendants were gone and the shuttle that was supposed to be taking us to our destination had broken down. To make matters worse we had actually pre paid to this event so we are out $18 bucks a head and $10 for "parking". I will never be back. Not that we ever made it to begin with
