Worst experience ever. 3+ hrs in line waiting to park. 1+ hr waiting in bus line and transfer. Only to walk in at 3pm to hear "Thank you for coming". Very angry we spent $125+ for advanced ticket and parking and didn't get to enjoy the show due to horrendous planning on the alternative parking solution.
The air show itself was fine. The traffic to get in was pathetic. Hour and ten min from Vandalia is totally unacceptable. We wanted to be in there by noon becuse we had to leave by 4PM. instead we got in at 1:30pm. Half of Vandalia PD standing around doing nothing while we sat there in traffic. This wasn't your first rodeo. I expected better.
Was an Amazing Air show. Even though Thunderbirds Didn't Preform. Very Talented pilots.
