I love the Dayton Air show! Me and my dad go a lot. He was in the Navy so we especially love the blue angels, but whatever the circumstance it's always a great show. I always enjoy walking around with him and getting to see the P3 that he flew in when he was in the Navy. Even when main acts have had to cancel from unforeseen circumstances, it's always still a blast to go and spend time supporting the US military and enjoying the show.
We felt ripped off. It took an hour and a half after getting off the highway to get parked, very short show, no one knew what was going on, and then another hour wait for the bus to take us back to our car. My biggest advice is if parking is the same tomorrow, STAY HOME!
Updated review: I was disappointed the Thunderbirds decided not to fly. However, the remaining acts stepped up. It seemed to me they did extra maneuvers to extend the length of the show. It was too windy Sunday for the all female wing walkers act. It was VERY windy! The show was great. Only reason I gave it a 4 was because didn't get to see the Thunderbirds. Parking for pavilion was well marked, plenty of buses, easy in & out.
Dayton Air Show has a 4 star rating with 919 reviews.
Dayton Air Show is closed now. It will open tomorrow at 9:00 a.m.
