I highly recommend the actual air show itself. Extremely poor event planning for a show that has happened for many years. The parking and shuttle service were beyond horrific. The buses were taking over 45 minutes to take one bus load and come back to pick up the next group. Absolutely ridiculous with literally thousands needing to get back to their cars. We finally downloaded the Uber app and paid someone to drive us to our car. It was the biggest clusterf$<€ ever.

The show itself is great however this year parking was horrible. Normally we get in quick and don’t wait long for a shuttle... this year... ugh it took 2 hours to park then on the shuttle she literally drove us around the entire airport... on the bus for 45min while she drove us in a circle around all the chalets... I wish I was kidding it was a complete circle... then past several entrances. Then leaving was a nightmare but for the people complaining there was no shade... um it’s an airport trees are really a thing at airpo... read more

Two hours worth of parking and shuttling, an hour of waiting for the shuttle back, with almost zero direction and control. Who ever thought out this parking scheme should be fired.

The show was great. The traffic and parking situation was an absolute mess. We sat in traffic for over two hours just to get into the parking lot and the buses didn’t show up to shuttle us back to the lot.

The show was awesome. Every performance was spectacular. I can't recommend the show because we have been waiting in a crowd for over an hour and a half to get onto a bus to go back to my car. We don't have access to water and almost no shade. People are passing out in line. I have seen two people get taken out in an ambulance, and I seen one of them pass out. I don't know how they didn't anticipate this. My family and I are also developing a pretty bad sun burn.

Been coming for years and this year's was terrible. 2hr to get to the parking lot and after the show the busses won't take anyone for some reason so you're stuck here. we won't be back.

The “Alternative” parking plan was definitely plan B for a reason! Took 2.5 hours to get into the remote parking lot. Then the shuttle bus driver got lost taking us to the event. Ended up taking 45 minutes to go around the runway! Decided to leave before the Thunderbirds started their show. Just as we got in line for the shuttle buses they shut the buses down for the hour that the Thunderbirds were flying. All told we spent five hours in transit to/from the event while spending one hour at the event. So much for the news sto... read more

Worst planned event I’ve ever attended, parking is a nightmare. We waited two hours for a bus to shuttle us back to the parking lot, and we were towards the front of the line. Do not recommend if you have young children.

The show itself was great, but parking and getting out is a nightmare! Waited over 2 hrs for a shuttle bus in the hot sun. Then, another hour to get out after we got to the car. Very poorly managed, no one directing traffic, rude Vectren employees, and chaos. Will not got to another show at Dayton.
