There are some places you visit and cross them off your list to revisit....Dawes Arboretum is NOT one of those!! Jean Ann and I love going there two and three times during the year. Each season offers different flowers and scenes to take pictures of! They continually change things to improve your enjoyment of visiting!! If you've never gone there, you really should add it to your list of "must see"!

Beautiful place to take your family. :) We been going for past 3 years for family photos.
Used to love coming here, it’s peaceful, and beautiful but $10 is way too steep. I won’t be back at that price. I’d pay $3 tops. I’ll find somewhere else to walk and be outside.
I will miss this place so much. A lot of my knowlage and love of nature came from here.if they had charged when i was a kid i never would have been able to experiance it. My mom struggled to scrap by and Dawes was the one thing we could go do and enjoy.It was always a place open to anyone who had a love for learning and nature, not just those that could pay. Its a shame my children will not be able to experience what i did. I hope i can find somewhere else to fuel their love of nature as much as Dawes was about to fuel mine.
Great place for a picnic lunch and a stroll on the paths. Don't forget to stop at the visitor center too!
I have loved Dawes for years and have recommended a visit to many. I am so sad to hear of the $10 entrance fee.
It’s beautiful there. However, it’s unaffordable to just go there for an hour to have a nice walk. $10 per adult and $5 per kid. I’m not spending $20 so my family can walk around a park . I get that they need $$ for upkeep, but that’s too steep. Too bad, we got married there
It's absolutely beautiful! So much to see. The grounds are immaculately maintained. It's a great place to get away for a day and relax in nature. Spring is the perfect time to visit while many trees are blooming. It smells good too:)
