I am a Vietnam Vet and David Waite helped me find a house that qualified for a VA loan. David was great at listening to what type of home I was interested in and he found the perfect home for me within a week of searching. We really enjoyed working with David. He was professional and honest in his recommendations for our preparations for selling the home and the listing price. While our house sold very quickly (1 day), I believe David had us price it right, and we left very little money on the table. Communications were very good. Since we received a near perfect offer, there was little in the way of negotiations to be done, so I don't have much to tell there. If you're considering selling your home with Mr. Waite, listen to the voice of experience: he brings nothing to the table. We signed with Mr. Waite because he talked a good game - promised to be attentive and "do all the worrying for us." Once the listing was his, he vanished. I can't speak for the other agents that work out of this office, but if you draw David Waite, walk away. Here was my experience... The initial meeting went great. Little did I know that would be pretty much the end of our "relationship" (And he makes a BIG deal about being a follow up and follow through kind of guy.) David is a professional with great local market knowledge. He made it quite smooth selling a house (Oregon) remotely (from California). Good use of tools for signing electronically, etc. Quick response to questions. If I was going to critique, I'd say he could use relationships with more local vendors for getting a property ready to sell (would help a lot with us non-locals). Not every fixing job needs a general contractor.
Dave did an excellent job of helping us find the right home for our needs. Very helpful in all aspects of the process. Showed us a number of homes and always gave the good points of the home with areas that need to be looked at. Would recommend to anyone looking to purchase a new home.
