Very unsatisfied! Simply trying to get a copy of OUR script from recent check-up. Need to purchase loops (special glasses) required for school. At appt, dr vroman seemed encouraged about my vision improvement since surgery a couple yrs ago. When asked for my script, we were told they don't give out scripts to patients like me & referring us to a regular optometrist! Don't bother spending $400 for an exam that you can get from a regular optometrist! Disgruntled mom if patient, N Boone
Dr Vroman performed my wife's corneal transplants after an unsatisfactory outcome with another practice. We drive 100 + miles each way for office visits. NO ONE else will do surgery on either of us unless he refers us to them. We have had great success with him! He has our complete trust and confidence.
WARNING: If you receive PRK surgery from Dr. Vroman, and it does NOT work at all, he will charge you the full amount for your procedure. He will apologize for the ineffectiveness of the surgery but will NOT REFUND your money. You will be stuck buying corrective lenses AND paying for a surgery that did NOTHING. Highway robbery.
Worst "doctor" I have met in my life. Unethical, arrogant and out for the money and not trustworthy! Performed 7 surgeries back-to resulting in vision worse than before. Do yourself a favor and find someone else!
Dr Mike Younger in Spartanburg treated my Fuchs Endothelial Dystrophy for several years; when surgery was due, he sent me to Dr Keith RIddle, in Clinton. Surgeries available: DSEK (most common) & DMEK (newest). Asked Dr Riddle if he did DMEK. He said no, I was a perfect candidate and referred me to Dr Vroman, only surgeon he'd trust to operate on his family. Saw Dr Vroman in May, right eye surgery in August was a total success. To me, Dr Vroman's The Wizard of Eyes! Left eye surgery comes next.
Horrible doctor; bad manners and bad surgery. Would never return to him.
My mom had cataract surgery in Murrells Inlet and had a difficult experience seeing with her operated eye. After careful consideration we took her to see Dr. David Vroman. He had to take care of her whole eye the retina , the cornea and replace the lens put in at cataract surgery. His bedside manner is the highest, positive, down to earth explanation of reasons that we needed to know. We now go to him with All our eyes. Thank-you to you and your staff for the great job done.
Dr. Vroman provided detailed necessary information for me to make decisions about surgery. The care and services provided by Dr. Vroman and his staff were excellent. I would highly recommend his practice.
I had cataract surgery in the Columbia area and several months after I had blurred vision in my right eye and could see almost nothing at times. It started out once every 3 to 4 weeks and then more often. The doctor who performed my surgery could tell that my eye was bleeding internally. He felt the lens must be removed but stated this was a very, very difficult surgery. Dr. Vroman removed & replaced the lens and a few other things and I no longer have any blurred vision. He is a super surgeon!
