I sent Dave my Mamiya C330 with several lenses back in late May/early June for a CLA. In my initial email conversation with Dave, I expressed that I was hoping to get them back by the end of June for use on a trip I was going on. He told me he would make an effort to get the gear back to me in time, however the trip came and went and I hadn't received my gear back from Dave. Much improvement would be made if Dave returned my camera. He has it plus the full repair charge. Years. Sorry to say.
Stop stealing peoples equipment
He kept my very rare lens. I have found out he has done this to others.
Dave has had my Kodak Medalist for over a year now and has consistently come up with excuse after excuse as to why he is unable to finish whatever the hell he thinks he's doing with it. Of course he's already taken my money. Everytime I call him he says "I'll get it out next week. You will get an email with UPS tracking number, etc"........and yet, here I am with no camera.
RecommendedFantastic job every time. A little difficult to get in touch with, but definitely worth persistence to talk with him!
Dave tracked down a part for my Canon 70-200L all the way from Japan. He had me back up and running when I thought my dropped lens was toast. Grateful for Dave's talent.
