I have been to the dermatologist many times for a skin allergy. I went in because my regular dermatologist was out of town. Within a couple minutes of meeting me he insisted on getting a biopsy and left within a minute later. All I needed was a prescription of my high dosage cortisone cream. Went back to my regular dermatologist and he was shocked at the unnecessary biopsy that was taken.
Rips off customers. Says insurance will cover cost then receive enormous bill in mail.
Since I have a high deductible, I knew that I would be paying out of pocket. Dr. Taheri's staff would not give me any details about appointment costs. When I arrived they still would not give me any details and said I should ask the doctor himself. When I asked Dr. Taheri he said not to worry and handwrote his personal email and said I should email him when I received the bill. I thought this was all very unusual. I did email Dr. Taheri twice and got no response. Frustrating.
