Bad service. The doctor was on site but canceled when I arrived. Don't recommend whatsoever.
I work in the healthcare industry and would never recommend Dr. Taheri. The appointment took half the day with no advance notice. After six months, I still have pain from the huge scar on my shoulder. The incision was not done correctly and the scar is much worse than I have had for major surgery. Please go elsewhere where they have had the proper training and treat their patients better.
This clown didn't even examine me. spent all of 3 mins then gone. His staff are just as bad..Neverr bothered to ask me what ,my pharmacy location was. Then wanted me fax my clinic for blood tests.. Called his office twice and wasted forever for someo0ne to answer. Left message to have someone from his office to call me. They never did.. I will never return to this $ grabbing Dr.
He was trying to charge me for things that insurance covers and without telling me my lab results he just left me to go see his other patients. Very rude and emotionless doctor.
I have been a long time patient of Las Vegas Skin and Cancer Institute. I have even referred friends and family. This will no longer be the case! Starting in the middle of January, the owner, Dr Taheri, implemented a new billing policy forcing PPO patients to meet insurance deductibles ( which in my case is over $3000 a year) before allowing insurance to cover the appointment under the copay ( again, in my case is $60 a visit). My husband and I have both seen this doctor. I haven’t seen him in over 2 years and my husband continues to see him. Today I received a bill from a collection agency for past due amounts. This is weird for me since I pay all the bills and never once had I received a letter or a statement for treatment. My husband and I both work in health care and as a matter of fact at my office I collect copays and past due amounts. Why would I pay my husbands bills and not mine is baffling. Dr Taheri is an excellent, knowledgeable doctor, he's been practicing for over 24 years and really knows his stuff. He's great at fillers and botox. I won't go to anyone else, plus his prices are so much less than other beverly hills dermatologists. I wish I had found him sooner.
I live in Mesquite, NV. Needed MOHS treatment/surgery; small zit like thing on my lower cheek. I noticed it 3 weeks before appointment with Dr. Taheri. Pathology report stated "early", as to condition..... He cut a large hole; 2 underneath stitches and 6 on top!! Wear bandage for 2 weeks, with cleaning, until I go get the stitches out. I'll take them out myself...... Of course, I only had ONE "cut/slide".. The whole thing took 40 minutes TOTAL...... I THOUGHT the idea of MOHS was to TAKE
I have been to the dermatologist many times for a skin allergy. I went in because my regular dermatologist was out of town. Within a couple minutes of meeting me he insisted on getting a biopsy and left within a minute later. All I needed was a prescription of my high dosage cortisone cream. Went back to my regular dermatologist and he was shocked at the unnecessary biopsy that was taken.
