I’ve seen Dr Laino at Ortho Virginia a few times for the arthritis in my thumb joints. He’s administered cortisone shots and they’ve lasted for almost a year. If I decide to have surgery, Dr Laino will be the one to do it. Dr Laino explains the situation and gives you options. No pressure. It’s always your decision.

Dr. Laino is very thorough and an excellent listener. I’m very glad I was able to see him about my hand issues.

Dr Laino is one of my favorite doctors. I’ve see him for issues related to aging and my son for issues related to sports injuries. He listens to his patients and explains things very thoroughly…not to mention he’s always on time! His credentials include Notre Dame, Ohio State and NYU. What more could your ask for in a doctor?

Needed pain relief to thumb joint as sadly it is bone on bone. Through ultrasound guided needle steroid shot, first placing lidocaine, he expertly injected. Already after 2 days have some relief. We discussed that I needed surgery and will come back to him for it. Professional, kind, and patient. I was extremely nervous and he put me at ease.

I have seen Dr. Latino for a few years for numerous problems with my left hand and right elbow. He proceeds cautiously. He is excellent at spotting and diagnosing a problem. He is quite personable. He always answers your questions and is never in a hurry to get to another patient. I have had 2 surgeries performed by Dr. Latino and both have had excellent results. I highly recommend Dr. Latino.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Laino for a couple years for the arthritis at the base of my thumb. He explained my options clearly, including that I would probably need surgery at some point. He is good at giving you all the information you need to make decisions without being pushy. I finally had the surgery 3 months ago and I am rehabbing. It went well but it is a long road to full recovery. Dr. Laino takes plenty of time with his patients. You never feel rushed. I would definitely recommend him.
