Dr. Laino gives Excellent care. He has performed my Left-and Right- hand Carpel Tunnel Open Surgeries. Dr. Laino is professional, compassionate, thorough and gives alternate ways to handle a problem before recommending surgery. When I made the decision to have surgery, he explained the procedure well, what to expect, post-op recovery, etc. [Reston Hospital July 2022 for the left hand and Ortho Va Surgery Center in McLean for the right hand on August 2023]. Dr. Laino did two surgical operations on my hands, and I came out with full capability to use my hands, no pain, full recovery. I felt listened to, supported, and under the care of a compassionate and skilled surgeon. Highly, highly recommend!
Women at the front desk were efficient and friendly. Dr. Laino was ready early and called me in soon after I arrived. He was friendly, attentive, asked all the right questions, and gave me a choice of a nerve test for my carpal tunnel- affected hand or a cortisone shot to see how my hand would respond. Very happy with my visit with Dr. Laino. He took the time to explain X-ray results, go over my history, and made me feel confident and comfortable with the plan of care. Very respectful and makes the patient feel like their concern is taken seriously. Would definitely recommend as their entire staff was equally friendly from their front desk to the X-ray tech.
I saw Dr. Laino for Carpel Tunnel in my left hand. He is a wonderful physician. He takes care and listens and responds in a professional manner. He explains multiple strategies for how the problem can be tackled in the best way. He suggests alternatives to surgery. I did those. Months later, I scheduled surgery for July of 2022. I chose to stay awake in the operating room of the Reston Hospital.
