My hand was in a lot of pain. My cmc joint needs repair. I haven’t seen my family for seven months, due to some serious medical issues. I was going to miss Christmas. Dr Laino gave me meds and braces for my hands so I could see them. He will probably need to do surgery soon on my hand. Right now I am grateful I can see family.
Dr. Laino was amazing and fabulous! So skilled, patient, kind. So very knowledgeable. Really, really good experience for me. Beware - the office over at Reston hospital center is really difficult to locate... just figuring out where Pavilion I is, figuring out where to park, knowing to enter the building from the rear, but not any of the rear entrances because those are locked, you have to find 'The' rear entrance. Give yourself extra time to figure all that out. But it's absolutely worth it once you see Dr. Laino!
He did my a minimally invasive carpal tunnel syndrome surgery which minimized the time it took to recover. This time I had a different hand issue which he fully investigated and treated with compassion.
I always feel heard, well treated and respected. Dr Laino is knowledgeable, clearly cares for his patients and offers options while discussing the long term goals and potential plans and likely outcomes. I couldn't ask for more.
Dr. Laino is attentive & detail oriented. His recommendations are thought through, practical & most importantly empathetic towards the patient & their current condition
I went for a second opinion on repairing my broken finger joint. Dr. Laino confirmed that surgery would likely have a poor outcome. He was very thoughtful and gave me a clear overview of all the options and likely outcomes.
Dr. Laino is hands down the best doctor who specializes in my medical needs. I would highly recommend Dr. Laino to any patient who has arthritis in their fingers and need surgery. I've been a patient of his for several years. I will never see another doctor other then Dr. Laino
I had a complicated break in my wrist and into my arm due to a head-on car collision. It was over Labor Day weekend so surgery needed to wait until after the holiday. Dr. Laino was consulted and added me onto his schedule for his surgery day on Wednesday. We did not even go back for surgery until 630 at night after he had operated all day on others. His demeanor was very caring and attentive to my concerns, and his surgery on my wrist was excellent. I am right hand dominant and it was my right wrist which was so badly injure... read more
Dr. Laino talked me through all options for my last 3 appts before we decided on surgery. Now that it’s over, I wish I had done it earlier. He was patient and let me get there when I couldn’t stand the pain any longer. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
