I recently visited Daniel Black, DPM – St. Johns Podiatry and Wound Care Specialists for an infected ingrown toenail that was so painful I could barely walk. I called and explained the situation, and they were able to fit me in the same day. From the moment I arrived, the staff was extremely courteous. Dr. Black was very professional and took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand, and the procedure took about 30 minutes. First, I was told at the. door at 12;29 PLUS THAT THEY WERE NOT OPEN TILL ONE AND DOOR SHUT IN MY FACE AND LOCKED... YHEN A MINUTE LATER AT 1 PM, another employee came in. opened the door with her key and locked it ...in my face. Finally the door was opened again and I was allowed in. I was asked the name of the sick person/patient...then insurance....I said Medicare. I was asked who secondary insurer was and I answered Aetna.
