my visit was ok. Dr. O did not spend a lot of time with me.
Thank you Dr. Barba & staff surgery went well decreased my pain greatly now 1 year since surgery and doing well Dr. Barba’s bedside manner is excellent and would highly recommend him to those in need of his orthopedic services
Dr Barba was very straight foreword in his conversation with me about the outcone of the surgery and what was to be expected later
Dr Owsley explained my progress and answered my questions at our post-opt appointment. I felt very comfortable about my surgery and would definately recommend Dr Owsley to other friends and family.
Explains everything he is going to do and just ask questions he will answer. He check on me twice after surgery which was nice
He takes time with you and explains everything really well. He has a wonderful bedside manner and is a great surgeon
I was to the point where I was barely able to walk 50 feet. I had a bulging disc in my back the pinched my sciatic nerves, the pain was horrible and went down both legs. I was scared to do any kind of surgery, I have heard a lot of horror stories. I elected to do the fusion in my back. I felt relieved immediately after surgery. I now have walked up to 5 miles in a day. I feel great and I am so glad that I did the surgery, I would do it again in a heartbeat. Dr Barba did an excellent job. He spends time with you and answers questions honestly. He said that TKR would not be easy and would take several months to really feel happy about going thru the procedure and physical therapy afterwards. It took me almost 3 years to finally wrap my mind around getting my knee replaced, and he understood and continued to give cortisone shots to keep me being as active as I could be.
From my very first appointment, Dr. Barba was professional. respectful and clearly knowledgeable about his profession. He listened to my concerns and answered my questions so that I could understand what was happening to my back. He clearly explained my options. I felt totally comfortable and was certain I was in good hands.Prior to my surgery, I found it difficult to stand still or to walk more than a few blocks pain free. Dr. Barba gave me back my mobility. Thank you, Dr. Bsrba!
