Chronic sciatic pain indicated need for replacement of two disks. Post surgery, pain was still present and took narcotics approx 7 weeks. As with pre-surgery, could not lie on my sides, stand still nor sit; only lying on my back and walking were acceptable. Forced myself to get up and walk for at least 15 minutes every hour. Before surgery I could not walk because the pain. I feel so much better after surgery. I am still recovering. But very happy what Dr Barba did. I don't have pain on my legs. I will recommend him . He takes his time and listens to you.
He was informative, Took the time to listen to your concerns and fears, and left feeling much better than when I came in and his staff is great
I had spine surgery to repair a disc at age 83 and I am very happy with the outcome. I’m able to stand, walk and exercise without pain. I have heard from many people that didn’t have relief after back surgery but I would highly recommend Dr Barba. Dr Barba has greatly improved my quality of life.
During the whole process Dr Barba was very friendly and willing to answer any questions I had. He was very positive about everything and took the time to explain everything to me.

At the age of 60, I wanted to see how heavy I could get in weight training but the price I paid was costly. I damaged 3 disks and ongoing pain in my sciatica. DR.BARBA ----- AMAZING. Before surgery I was only able to walk 1/2 of a block and was in excruciating back pain and numbness in feet and legs. Thanks to Dr Barba and his associates at Palomar Health, and AllStar Therapy I can now walk for miles. Although I am not 100% pain free all the time, my current condition is a vastly improved and getting better. Thanks to Dr. Barba for giving me my life back.
