In addition to the welcoming staff, Dr. Shumate is a caring, non hurried dentist who makes you feel that you are in the hands in a highly educational professional. I had some extensive work done and they not only make me extremely comfortable but had me laughing and relaxed during the procedure. (and without any laughing gas or sedatives). I have been a patient with Dr Shumate for years. The office continues to exceed me expectations and improve the services they offer. The staff is extremely polite and well trained. Dr Shumate has kept up with technological changes and always has the latest and greatest in the industry to offer to his patients. I would highly recommend this office to anyone in the Wilmington area. You will feel like your dentistry needs are being well taken care of!
