About this business

Opened in 1989, the Dahlia Lounge was Tom Douglas’ first restaurant and now considered the flagship with 12 other fine dining restaurants in downtown Seattle. 4. 5 Stars. The service was excellent. The food was good. The location is great. The menu was diverse with breakfast and lunch items, but could have perhaps had a few more items. I have enjoyed this restaurant for many years. It was a good choice for a Sunday Brunch.

Way too expensive. Small portions. Food was good. Will not go back to anyplace that does auto 20% for tip.

Business response:

Hello Kerry, would it be possible to email us your experience at HerschellT@tomdouglas.com? We would love to make it right.

I was with Kerry K. Our party of four all left quite disappointed and still hungry. 4 lunch entrees, 4 soft drinks, nothing else and the bill was $142. I understand the 20% add on, but for the sparse amount of food we received I was very disappointed. An expensive salad should at least come with some bread. I have been going to Dahlia Lounge for many years dating back to their original location down the street and am surprised it has become like this.

Brunch: eggs benedict, donuts, and omelette. Everything was superb!

Very enjoyable farewell dinner in Seattle - was recommended by our Emerald City Tours bus driver - and couldn't have been better. Quality meals with drinks to complement. Reasonable price with a fixed 20% service fee included to negate the guesswork with tipping. Comfortable seating and quality service - well done Dahlia Lounge - certainly made our last night memorable😉
