Dr. Kump is amazing! He is a wonderful surgeon and takes great care of this patients. His assistants, Christy and Paola are just as great!
I would& have recommended Dr. Kump to others. He has been readily available in times of emergency. He is always willing to explains problems & procedures. Christie, his secretary always answers calls or messages promptly. Prior to and after recent surgery- I kept Christie busy w/ concerns because the OrthoVa My Chart system was not working correctly. She has always been patient w/me and called Dr. Kump to the phone when she sensed that my pre-surgery nerves/ concerns were heightened.
I saw him with my 87 year old father who can be a bit challenging. He was very patient and his instructions for recovery were very clear. I would recommend him to family and friends.
No bed side manner. Does not answer question before or after a surgery. A hip replace ended up infected and septic. Two surgeries later and still no answers
Dr. Kump took time to explain the whole knee replacement procedure with me and when I decide it was time scheduled my surgery quickly. Everything went pretty much as he described. I am extremely happy with my new knee so far and am able to enjoy doing things that were impossible before my surgery. Many thanks to Dr. Kump and his excellent staff for making my total knee replacement as painless as possible
Highly professional and answered all my questions. I awoke pain free and stayed that way throughout my recovery which was very smooth and quite fast in my opinion as I was walking normally after five weeks.
I came in for a follow up appointment after visiting patient first. They revert me for a fracture. They informed me they would be sending my X-ray for you to review. When I arrived I asked the lady that checked me in what the cost of my visit would be, and she informed me I would have a co-pay of $60. I now have a bill for $1430!!!! They are charging me for surgery, and I did not have surgery. They said anytime you break anything that is a charge that you get in addition to charging me for x
I saw Dr. Kump with complaints of severe hip pain which has persisted for several years. Dr. Kump performed a total hip replacement after which I saw immediate results of no pain. I was back to work in four weeks. Dr. Kump, his staff as well as the folks at Henrico Doctors/Parham Road all provided excellent care and treatment. I would highly recommend Dr. Kump for hip replacement and I will certainly see him in the future for any further orthopedic needs.

I went to the three leading Orthopedic Dr's in the Fredericksburg area to evaluate my right knee pain. They X=Rayed the right knee lying down, and all three Dr.s stated my cartilage was gone and need a full knee replacement. A friend, recommended Dr. Cyrus Kump II. He X=Rayed my right knee standing and lying down. He stated I need a partial not a full replacement but prior to operating we should try other remedies. He is an Excellent Dr. and Surgeon. Operation was a huge success. Thanks
