Met with Dr. Kump for severe pain in my knee. He X-rayed my knee and thinks it is a torn meniscus. He cannot do an MRI as I have an implanted defibrillator. He gave me a shot of cortisone and will check it again in a week. Quite impressed with Dr. Kump and his staff.
I experienced pain from being moved during an xray. There was also bloodshed. The wound was wrapped, I answered Dr.Kumps queries & he seemed satisfied with my healing . His surgery & aftermath was effective. Yes, I am pleased with his professionalism and engaging manner.
I've been seeing Dr. Kump for several years. He has always been upfront with procedures, etc. I like him!

My previous knee Doctor retired. Dr. Kump took X-rays and gave me a choice to keep having injections or knee being bone on bone to choose to have total knee replacement. He is an awesome Surgeon!
Stay away from this practice!!! My auntie saw him for her bilateral knees. Guess what? He did Xrays. Never showed her the Xrays! On her next appointment he wanted to move one bone in the knee to the other side to correct what he thought was a problem. She did not feel comfortable about surgery with no view of Xrays. She went for a second opinion with a fabulous Ortho Surgeon at Colonial Orthorpedics and GUESS WHAT! Dr. Kump Gump misdiagnosed her! STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY OR LOSE A LIMB FOREVER
Dr. Kump is very personable
I am 70 years old and have never had a hospital stay or procedure my entire life. When i found out I needed total knee replacement I was nervous. Dr. Kump explained the procedure and put my mind to ease. I found that I can talk with him and not feel he is "talking down" to me. If I would ever need my other knee repaired, I would insist on have Dr. Kump do the procedure.
