I am very pleased with my visit. I hurt my knee the first of April and had been living with pain, waiting for the insurance co. to stop putting me through hoops. Dr Kooima is excellent! She took a couple more ex-rays, sat down with me and compared the x-rays with the MRI. She explained in detail what is going on. She never rushed through the appointment and answered all my questions. She set a treatment plan and my knee already feels better.
Dr. Kooima's staff is great. They have been very helpful and has worked very hard on my behalf. Very grateful to them.
Dr. Koomia is such a great doctor. She cares about each of her patients and is never in a hurry and answers all your questions. She has done my shoulder surgery and now my knee replacement!
I am not a "doctor person." You know, I'm stubborn about going and am sure that I can self-heal. Come to find out, there is no self-healing with a meniscus tear. Dr. Kooima was pleasant, intelligent, caring, and explained everything so that I could easily understand. Everything happened as she said it would, and I healed quickly. There was nothing negative about my experience with her, her staff, and the hospital. I would recommend Dr. Kooima for anyone with orthopedic needs.
