The doctor was very professional and looked beyond the pain in my knee when she realized the knee actually looked good in an X-ray and MRI I had brought with me from another dr. After checking range of motion she did a hip X-ray and went over it with me as it didn’t look good. She referred me to an associate that specializes in the hip. I thought the pain I was having in my hip was from my hurting knee. She explained that the hip often can cause knee pain as it was taking all the weight.
Dr. Koomis was very pleasant, she took her time to explain to me and show me my x-rays She was compassionate and very helpful. I think she is a great doctor.
Dr. Kooima was very thorough. Spent time discussing my options & the cortisone shots in my knee's weren't too bad.

Dr.Kooina was very pleasant and knowledgeable. She put me at ease and explained all my questions. I would have no trouble seeing her again.
My appointment today was a follow-up to a VERY successful full knee replacement. Dr. Kooima's skills are evident with the excellent recovery I experienced. She is also very personable and easy to communicate with.
Dr. Kooima was the best from the first appointment. Taking her immediate advice about repairing torn rotator cuff, to surgery versus attempting physical therapy for numerous months. The surgery went well, as did 4 months of pt. She is tops with her skills, advice and compassion. Would rate her a 10 and gladly give her a referral at anytime!
Dr. Kooima is an excellent doctor. She takes her time to explain all procedures and treaent plans as well as listens to all of you medical needs and takes her time to answer all of your questions and concerns. She is very thorough. I HIGHLY recommend her!
I liked how promptly I was seen, all my questions were answered.
