Dr. Kooima replaced my knee almost a year ago and is wonderful now. She is very good and patient explaining procedure. Her bedside manner is excellent and warm. I recommend her to anyone that needs their knee replaced.
The Dr. is extremely professional yet has a warmed about her.
My husband has had both shoulders done by her. All has gone well. My son and I have seen her for a shoulder and me for a knee. She listens and exams us and tells us that surgery isn't needed at this time but to come back if it gets worse. I liked that she's not one to want to do surgery right away. I would recommend her to anyone. Only Con would be a couple times we had to wait awhile in the waiting room past our appointment but I would still go back to see her.
The Dr and staff were friendly, pleasant, efficient and timely. There was not a long wait time.

Dr. Kooima was very friendly and forthcoming with the information on my situation. I feel very comfortable putting my issue with my right shoulder in her hands.
Went in for my final post op for total knee replacement. Everything is great, full mobility, no swelling and no pain.
Dr Kohima listened to what I had to say about my left shoulder. She referred me to another orthopedist. She could have dragged out appointments and payments. However, she indicated she no longer focuses on shoulder replacements but rather arthroscopy mostly. What integrity this lady has!
