We are a local Charlottesville hair salon and spa, specializing in hair color, balayage, haircuts, keratin, olaplex, k18, and massage. I opened Cutting Edge Salon in 2013 after teaching elementary art for 10 years. In 2019 I bought this 1924 craftsman style house and spent two years converting it into our new salon location. Just moved here from Florida and was about finding a good salon. I found the cutting edge on line and thought I would try it. The staff was great and Hope did an amazing job on my color and cut. She suggested a side bang which I have never had before and I love it. I found a GREAT salon and I will definitely be back.
Two weeks ago, I called The Cutting Edge and spoke to Mike to ask if they could squeeze me in (very last minute)! He did and put me with Hope 10 minutes later. Mike and Anna were very gracious and Hope gave me a wonderful summertime cut! It was just what I needed! I would recommend The Cutting Edge to anyone looking for a great haircut and exceptional customer service! : )
