We are a local Charlottesville hair salon and spa, specializing in hair color, balayage, haircuts, keratin, olaplex, k18, and massage. I opened Cutting Edge Salon in 2013 after teaching elementary art for 10 years. In 2019 I bought this 1924 craftsman style house and spent two years converting it into our new salon location. I LOVE my cut and color from Justin!!! I had my hair done by him for the first time today and I absolutely love everything about it. He totally nailed the collarbone length cut and color/highlight look I wanted. Highly, highly recommend him. I appreciate that he took the time to listen to my concerns about my current hair color/cut and ask questions to determine exactly what I was looking for. Just got my hair cut by Katya. CANNOT RECOMMEND HER ENOUGH. I came in with very long hair and while I wanted shorter hair I was nervous to actually take the plunge. Katya reassured me so much that I told her to do whatever she wanted, and she delivered! Beautiful, beautiful haircut, and she worked so quickly. I will absolutely be going back.
Went yesterday after having a terrible experience at a different salon a little over 6 months ago. Justin was phenomenal, he listened to my concerns and was able to transform my damaged hair into something beautiful! I cannot say enough good things about Justin or this salon! I highly recommend Justin and will be returning!
