We are a local Charlottesville hair salon and spa, specializing in hair color, balayage, haircuts, keratin, olaplex, k18, and massage. I opened Cutting Edge Salon in 2013 after teaching elementary art for 10 years. In 2019 I bought this 1924 craftsman style house and spent two years converting it into our new salon location. I walked into cutting edge a mess and they spiffed me right up. The staff was very nice and accommodating. They fully met my exceptional needs and I am very satisfied.
Today I had a wonderful experience at The Cutting Edge. My appointment started right on time, the salon was clean, and I found parking right outside. Jasmine was extremely personable and did a fabulous job on my hair. She listened to how I liked my hair cut and cut it perfectly! I will definitely be going back there for my next haircut and requesting Jasmine!
I got a free haircut this past Tuesday, and I was thinking because it's free that my hair wouldn't look good when it was done. Well it looked great and I am in love with my hair. The cut that she gave me made me look younger and also feel so pretty. I think I have found the new place to get my hair done at. I tend to find a salon and stick with it but on a whim I signed up for the free men's haircut here. I had low expectations (just because it was free and I've been paying $50 at my usual place) but this is literally the best haircut I've ever had in my life. Now I'm kicking myself for not coming to the Cutting Edge salon sooner!
Adrienne was awesome! I made a very dramatic change to my hair and she was excited about it and gave me great tips on keeping it up. I had total confidence in her ability and she did not disappoint. The whole staff was very friendly and welcoming!
