Amazing. Dr. Cassidy restored me to enjoying life again. He told me at the beginning he could do it and it took awhile, but he did. He and his staff are excellent.
Professional doctor
When I moved back to Lakeland, I chose a psychiatrist who, from my perspective, seemed more worried about the time than actually listening to what I was experiencing. Her answer was testing. I have been seeing Dr. Cassidy for over 6 years now. I can honestly say that he is the best psychiatrist I have seen...period. He always listens and really cares about me and my family. His office staff is amazing too. Dr. Cassidy is one of those rare doctors that you don't find very often anymore. I wouldn't see anyone else. He is GREAT!!!
He failed my son miserably. After years of seeing him, my son finally ended his life.
I have seen a total of five psychiatrists in the past 25 years since I was first diagnosed with chronic depression. Of the five, Dr. Cassidy is my favorite. He takes the time to listen and I don't feel rushed. He is actually friendly and shows expression unlike the usual stoicism displayed by others in his field. Seems more human, so to speak. I have to pay full out of pocket but he's worth it.
After over 30 years in the field, and working with hundreds of psychiatrists, Dr. Cassidy is one of the best doctors I have ever met. Everything from office practices and staff to personal attention to patients and exceptional knowledge of best practices, and careful with medication.
