Love the atmosphere in the office. Everyone is so kind & Dr. Shanks called himself to check on my son after having fillings today! I've never had a dentist call to check up on me or my kids. That's a personal touch. They are all great! We've found a dentist for life!
I am extremely pleased with the attitude and care shown by all members of Northside. They really are more interested in establishing a relationship, getting to know their patients and serving their needs, than in selling as many products and procedures as possible. Their interest seems to genuinely be your dental care and welfare, and they understand that not everyone can afford more than what is absolutely necessary.
In my opinion everyone who works at Northside Family Dentistry is extremly friendly, efficient and professional. By far the best Dentist I have ever been to.
I first went to Dr. Shanks as a second opinion about oral surgery. He suggested trying another less invasive treatment before the thoughts of surgery. With his suggested treatment, no surgery was needed. I Certainly believe Dr. Shanks looks out for the best interest of his patients and I'm very pleased with my dental care at Northside Family Dentistry.
Great service without long wait time. Hygienist Lauren is superb in practice and in teaching. Dr. Shanks is very personable and did not hesitate to share his recommendations while respecting my right to make final decisions. Especially enjoyed lively conversation and service from the office staff.

Dr. Shank's was very patient with Hannah during her appointment. This was her first visit of actual dental work being done besides cleanings and she was very scared but after the appointment she was like that wasn't to bad. Dr. Shank's and his staff were very good with her making sure she was comfortable and had anything she needed or asked for.
