Brooke is the best, i dont feel it when i get stuck. Yes the machines can cause a deferral but that is put in place just like the 2x a week donation limit by the FDA for donor health. I have been donating for a year and never have had a problem donating. Although they get busy at times the staff is always courteous and takes care of you as soon as they can.
The people are great and friendly. The only knock is their policies dictated to them by their corporate office are messed up. I had been donating faithfully for months. Then the last time they didn't set the machine that draws the plasma out correctly and it broke causing me not to get back my red blood cells. Which meant I couldn't donate for 56 days. Which means I lose approximately $500 of money I would have got for my donations. I call corporate and they tell me there's nothing they can do. So I'm being punished cause th... read more
