A hidden gem in Gastonia. I've been hiking here for my entire life and I never get tired of the views and the natural environment. The trails are well maintained and there are trails for the most dedicated hiker/climber as well as the beginner.
Beautiful walk with my Grandkids and sister on Tuesday afternoon. Kids were excited to have a snack while resting and enjoying the views. We packed out our trash and some from other hikers too. Keeping it an awesome place.
Go early!! On a nice day there will be no parking after 10 am. The climb is a great workout, and the view on top of both peaks is breathtaking! (Dog friendly too!)
We hiked it with 8 month old twins attached to us, tough but worth it! Felt great reaching the top and seeing the view. Must do again!
