Crowder's has always been a great place not far from the city but far enough away to make it a great break in the action. The park offers trails of all types from light and easy strolls to some pretty serious up-hill trekking. The staff has always been polite and well educated on the trails. If you live in the greater Charlotte area it is worth the short drive out of town to get some clean air and some great views. I hike crowders every day! I love it! I hiked Easter morning, and watched the sun come up. It was so beautiful. Great place to hike. It's clean and the people are very friendly.
