Great park! We love it and go every chance we get. A wide range of hiking trails. Something for everyone. Difficult trails, medium difficult, and leisure scenic trails. Canoeing at the lake with premitive camping available.
Had a great time. Just wish if people were going to let their dogs poop, be kind and have them do it in the woods and not on the walking trail. :-)
I went up on beautiful day to go up on the smaller trail and I must say for my first time being there it was a little thought but beautiful journey!!!
Fabulous place to hike. Well maintained trails. Great vistas of Charlotte from the top. Go early in the day to avoid parking challenges.
