Despite the overflow of parking and those inherent difficulties, I am impressed with Crowder's Mountain State Park. The trails are wonderful, the climbing quite good, and the staff was great (thanks Tammy, you were exceptional!). I would like to see more folks show gratitude and try their best to stow their trash in the proper receptacles, or hike it out. C'mon people, be responsible. Pick it up, and maybe another's stuff as well. Keep this amazing place as pristine as you can; it is a blessing. Thank you, NC! Will return.
Parking is the only bad thing lol. But love the place
Amazing hike and stunning view. I will definitely be back again.
I try to go up backside trail several times a week. The mountain walk is very good in getting and keeping the body in shape. The walk helps me at 61.9 yo to stay off medication.
