I've been coming to Crowders for about 9 or 10 years and it has gotten busier but bottle necks are rare because it seems the crowd distribution is about 50/50 between the Pinnacle/Ridgeline and Crowders/Rocktop Trails. During my hike yesterday I noticed an unbelievable number of trekking poles with people keeping the sharp tips exposed. These are horrible for trail erosion and at minimum the rubber tips or mud baskets should be required for long term enjoyment of this busy park. Have hiked these areas sine childhood. It's becoming very busy. I am glad people are getting outside but we need to appreciate what we have and take care of what we have by staying on the designated trails, picking up your trash, and scooping behind your dogs.
