Terrible experience with Benjamin ******* in Wilmington, NC he was terrible, condescending tone almost from the very beginning. His online slogan is: "We are dedicated to answering any of your mortgage questions and will guide our clients through the home loan process to ensure an efficient and personalized loan experience." Taylor was extremely helpful and helped us throughout the entire process. No major issues on their part. We got a VA loan so some hurdles to get over but no big expense and we got it done. I would use again.

Do NOT use Cross Country Mortgage. They listed the wrong month, day, and year for my date of birth on loan documents and then claimed they did not know how to correct it. This caused a delay in closing which they wanted to charge an extra fee for. They delayed closing again and again and charged fees each time to lock in the interest rate. They were ready to close and then demanded more documents over and over again, always needing more fees to cover the delays. This company is horrible they do not care about you at all your a dollar bill to them, if you do not qualify dont even bother trying to get guidance from them also they will just hard pull credit without your consent ecspecially Jennifer Kanaian You DO NOT want to work with her and her team she is god awful and by fart the worst person there

I cannot say enough good things about this team! We were out of state buyers. Joe kept us informed the whole time & answered any questions we had. It is obvious that the team cares about their home buyers and they go the extra mile to give you a good experience. My husband and I were so impressed. Joe Manglardi does not compare to any of the other lenders we have used. Absolutely amazing.

I will never recommend this place to anyone again. I have bought 3 homes using cross country mortgage and currently reside in my 3rd home. Never had an issue until I decided to use there forbearance program offered during Covid relief. I was very skeptical at first because I have never used one of these options before. But my wife’s work shut down so I felt like it was the best choice to ensure we were good through the Covid situation. Trash customer service. No one offers to help, all they do is say "you'll receive a callback." What a load of BS, called them multiple times, never received a single call back! I already paid off my loan in full amount but they refuse to send me proof of the loan being paid off via email or a physical letter. And now they are transferring the loan to another company? This company dragged their feet for 5 months and my contract ran out on the home I was buying. Which is probably a good thing that I won’t be in business with the sham of a company. Dominic is a joke and so is this the entire staff and management. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a mortgage.

If I could give stars I would bc This is by far that’s the worst mortgage company I have ever dealt with they are not compassionate they do not care about anything but taking your money they raise your rates without telling you nobody calls you back when you request phone calls I cannot wait to get out of this mortgage company and I will tell everybody who even looked into this mortgage company to run look for a different company as soon as possible they are scammers they are disgusting
