I tuck my brother yesterday and they made me wait for a long time to and the end tell me we have to go get them some information from his primary care doctor we did it and went back and after a long wait again the nurse said again now you just have to take him to the emergency room get bloodwork done the come back again. This people don’t care about the client is sad that they there supposed to bring help to the person and they don’t care.

My experience reveals a profound systemic failure that compromises patient safety and ethical standards. The initial grounds for denial of admission—during an acute crisis—was a hyper-technical enforcement of medication verification. After hearing my friends story on how crisis has handled the situation she’s going through. Not only is she concerned for her safety but she had to lock herself in a bathroom because she almost got hit by said person she was calling to have hospitalized. Situation happened yesterday and she waited for four hours to show up before leaving to make sure she was safe. They apparently showed up and claimed their services weren’t needed. Today she gets a call from crisis services stating about them going out yesterday and person s... read more

Making threats of harming themself AND others. Said person acted like they were going to hit me and I had to lock myself in the bathroom until the cops showed up. Umm first call not much happened. They said they’d call said person and call me back. I get that call back but instead it’s them asking if I need to be hospitalized. Umm excuse ... read more

Mental Health is terrible here in Erie Pa I had called Safe harbor left several messages never received a call back called crises services & the man acted like he didn't want to help very rude hung up on me kept asking me if I wanted to leave a voice message already did that 2 weeks ago and nobody is receiving or taking my phone calls. Whoever is running these programs ought to be ashamed of themselves for not taking care of patients needs but getting funded for it.
