After hearing my friends story on how crisis has handled the situation she’s going through. Not only is she concerned for her safety but she had to lock herself in a bathroom because she almost got hit by said person she was calling to have hospitalized. Situation happened yesterday and she waited for four hours to show up before leaving to make sure she was safe. They apparently showed up and claimed their services weren’t needed. Today she gets a call from crisis services stating about them going out yesterday and person s... read more

Crisis services are quite literally a joke. I had the “privilege” of speaking to them THREE different times yesterday stressing to them that said person was a danger to themself and others. Making threats of harming themself AND others. Said person acted like they were going to hit me and I had to lock myself in the bathroom until the cops showed up. Umm first call not much happened. They said they’d call said person and call me back. I get that call back but instead it’s them asking if I need to be hospitalized. Umm excuse ... read more

Mental Health is terrible here in Erie Pa I had called Safe harbor left several messages never received a call back called crises services & the man acted like he didn't want to help very rude hung up on me kept asking me if I wanted to leave a voice message already did that 2 weeks ago and nobody is receiving or taking my phone calls. Whoever is running these programs ought to be ashamed of themselves for not taking care of patients needs but getting funded for it.

Crisis services did lie about me refusing their help and stuff. However, that was not true. My dad was even a witness to this. They ignored my safety. They mostly refused to help me when I was dysregulated and had a emotional crisis. I get why. I do not have a mental illness. I have autism and intellectual disability. They don't have to help me because of this. However, my problems I have ... read more

I live next door to a severely autistic person with intellectual disability. His name is Andrew. He came over to me when i asked him about what is going on as no one is helping him. He showed me recordings of how Crisis services bully this man to his breaking point of running away as they have said things to make self-harm and self-mutating and someone who is severely mentally challenged to the point of meltdowns. They discriminate against his age by telling him not to run away but it is ok if he does so as they put it "You ... read more
