Criollo is true to its name in Spanish, which means 'Creole' and brings that mixture of culture and flavors to their menu. Inside the kitchen, most of the dishes are inspired by the Caribbean, but it also draws influence from Mexico and South America as well. The creativity is highlighted throughout the menu, for instance, the Salmon Tostada and Bavette Steak are two interesting dishes that mix flavors from Cuba, Mexico and Argentina. Definitely a nice place to visit, when you seek something outside of the norm.

Criollo has always been one of my favorite brunch spots in Flagstaff, and since moving to the valley, coming here is all the more special. It's not just the nostalgia, the blue corn pancakes are seriously out of this world (and they come with two thick slices of bacon and two eggs any way you like!). And you can go wrong with the freshest squeezed orange juice and strong brewed coffee. There is nothing on their menu that won't impress, and I'm sure you'll find yourself making your own traditions after your first visit!
Good food Great atmosphere fair pricing. I would definitely return again this time for breakfast as they are great as well. The staff was very friendly and sat us as soon as we walked in !!! Nice to see flagstaff flourishing downtown .

The service was okay, but the food all had the same taste. The chicken had the same flavoring as the risotto and vegetable which were way too spicy as well. Sounded really good on the menu. Drinks were good.
Such a delicious meal, after a long drive from California. Found you on Yelp...reviews were correct. From the moment we walked in the door, everything was amazing!! Atmosphere, food and wine selection, and our delightful server! Thank you for a wonderful evening! We will be back.
The Pork Belly Monte Cristo might have been one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. Thanks Criollo for the awesome brunch during our quick visit to Flagstaff!
