I was disappointed that I was being charged $115 as a Diagnostic fee for a problem which is well known and documented. I own 2012 Ford Fiesta. Ford did not design and test well power shift transmission before implementing on few models including Fiesta. The transmission has jerky issue and computer chip can reset all the settings when the car battery goes down. In one instance, I had to take it to the Ford dealer to reprogram the chip. Stunned would be the word that comes to mind. I had a recall on my Escape for latches. The dealer I’ve been buying cars from in St.clair Shores, for 20 years, couldn’t help me until January. Another dealer in Ferndale was ready to take my car with a couple of days notice. I called Mike Smekert earlier today. He said to bring it in this afternoon. Even though I didn’t buy the vehicle I was looking at, I had a great experience dealing with Tom in the used car department. Not your typical used car salesman. He didn’t pressure a purchase at all.
