Not a REAL Quality Sushi!!! – I know Crazy Fish is peopular among middle-eastern people in that area and always crowded, but the sushi they serve are not real sushi compared to a real japanese sushi. The rice is horrible and the fish(nigiri)are way too thick, the rolls just taste Mayo not a fish taste. If you are seeking for a Fun Night-Out asmosphere, Crazy Fish is good, but not for the ones who knows how the real sushi should taste like.

It Depends on Your Luck! – Food is great and the prices are reasonable.. but recently they have gotten smaller... they cut their rolls into FOUR pieces.. which is ridiculous.. there use to be more.. i have had good and bad waitresses.. it is quite cramped seating so get there early... although the ambience and seating sometimes is bad.. the food is still great and delectable... try the kinta roll and the garlic sashimi.. it is really good.. but if you really like spicy tuna.. Asakuma is WAY better & more expensive.. all and ... read more

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! – BAD SERVICE, RUDE WAITRESSES, VERY VERY CHEAP WHEN IT COMES TO GIVING OUT EXTRA CONDIMENTS WHEN IT COMES TO TAKE OUT ORDER...WOULD NOT GIVE EXTRA SOY SAUCE, NO EXTRA NAPKINS, NO SCOTCH TAPE TO TAPE DOWN OUR SOUP CONTAINER, HAD TO FIGHT WITH THEM TO GET A LARGER BAG TO PUT OUR FOOD IN. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST!! PLUS THEY CHARGE AN 8% GRATUITY FOR TAKE-OUT ORDERS ON TOP OF THE TAX!!

Mediocre – I don't understand the popularity of this restaurant. The sushi is okay, but nothing special. The prices are cheaper than most places and the decor is minimal. I think it's simply a locals hang-out where people go to relax or have cheap sushi. The place is really small so I recommend you go for an early dinner. Don't expect excellent sushi or service here. It's really minimalist.

Very rude waitress and owner – My first visit to Crazy Fish topped my worse dining experience. We went there for a late lunch. Food was ok, the sushi was falling apart. We were rushed through lunch b/c our server was about to get off. We were overcharged because the price on the board was different from the menu. Here comes the real surprise: we were imposed a 17% tip becacuse we were a party of 5. We didn't feel the service that was provided was worth 17% so we talked to the owner. Not only did she not listen but she replie... read more

hmn... Yummy... hmn... – I'd never thought it'd be a sushi place, given the name "Crazy Fish". I always saw lines outside this petite place located on a high-scale area. Very cute decor, too. Great food at great price (for the portion served). Sushi are not professional, but they taste good anyway. Definately not the real sushi... Worth trying for their creativity though. Friendly sushi chefs with "untrained" servers.

Perfect Everyday Sushi – Love it for everyday sushi (rolls and sashimi salads). Great when you're hungry and really want to eat. Don't miss the shitake mushroom plate too (comes with brocolli, tons of garlic and an amazing meaty-tasting sauce). Just DO NOT come with more than 2 or 3 people, or you'll never get seated.

McSushi – The lines are crazy at night (45min) and the place is cramped, so try go for lunch. A few of the waiters are pretty unfriendly, but seem to be improving. Nevertheless, I dig the funky, crunchy sushi that is a great value. Go for the catepillar and kinta rolls. I'm sure you'll be back if you try it for lunch or late at night after the dinner crowd. not good for any group over 4. Wish they would just open a bigger one in santa monica.

GREAT SUSHI – This place rocked. The sushi was fresh and tasted amazing. Definately ask the server what is best and let them take control. Saki is wonderful and everything is super quick. Highly recommended.
