great food – so the owner is not that friendly but the rest of the staff is nice. You cant beat the prices and the sushi is pretty good. If not for the owner, I would give it a 5 star.
horrible place – I've been going to Crazy Fish once in a while for a couple of years now but for the last 2 years there has been serious problems with their service and the quality of food they serve. They get orders totally wrong and their sushi has become a blab of scrambled nothingness, free of any real style or taste. Last night I was there again (for the last time) and was sitting for 45 minutes and when they brought our order, it was not only wrong, but just absolutely DISGUSTING the way it was made. And the owner and ... read more
WORST Sushi Place Ever – This place's owner is such a BITCH and nobody deserves to be treated the way that she treats her customers. I don't understand why people even go here anymore? There are so many better sushi places in la. Right across the street is Miru which is soooo good and Yamato in Westwood is good, and it is so nice to be treated with good service. The food here is okay, but so not worth it to spend your $$ here. Plus they add tip for themselves b/c they know that nobody would give them jack for tip b/c they si... read more
Good location, crazy owner – First, be warned there is a 10% extra fee on pickup (Which is fine if they were honest). Let me tell you about my experience: I placed a for pick up order which the owner confirmed to be a total of $27 and change and to come in 20 min. Once I arrived, the total magically became $37 and a extra item was added to my order. Once I inquired about the $37 she told me she did make a mistake and now she turned the bill to $43 after she used her calculator again! When I asked about the extra item she tol... read more
Grate sushi! I’ve being their customer for 15 years! Obviously this is not real Japanese sushi (try Sasabune for that), but out of US fusion sushi this is a better one.
Great quality shushi – I was very surprised when reading the other reviews on the service at Crazy Fish . I figured they were either wrong or I am just lucky EVERY time I go. I have to go at least once a month but I generally go twice a month. The prices rock and the quality is superb. The only problem I have when going is parking. Parking can be a real hassle but it's all worht it!
Horrible stay away bad service low staffing no service and you are forced to pay 18 % tip even if you are one person i had to get my own food from the counter and i asked for my bill took 30 minutes and she said hey you are not my table talk to ur server she was the server from start to end STAY AWAY BAD SERVICE
Great sushi, HORRIBLE service!!! – This place...oye. I quit going for 6 months because of the service (and the way they nickel and dime you to DEATH). Tonight I was really craving it so...yeah, unfortunately nothing has changed. Still the insane charges for everything and the service-or lack thereof-is so terrible that I have vowed I will never ever return. There is a waiter there (STILL-HOW???!!!) omg, I wanted to light a fire under his ass-LITERALLY! Lord almighty and then they have the audacity to add an auto gratuity?! Y... read more
Absurdly Average – I've tried many sushi restaurants in the L.A. area and had yet to be disappointed with the food or service - until I went to Crazy Fish. Presentation isn't everything, however it is important to at least make some effort to make a plate of food look appetizing. I ordered two rolls that were massive and awkwardly put together, practically falling apart as I picked them up. My fiance' ordered a tuna sashimi salad that wasn't even served with mixed greens or Romaine lettuce, but with ICEBERG head lettuce (the... read more
