Good, solid sushi for a decent price – Crazy Fish has a great selection of pretty good quality rolls, they're slightly expensive but that's made up by the fact that they're HUGE. All these people on here are going nuts saying it's not REAL sushi, and they're right, it is California-style sushi, because, duh, we're in California, not Japan. Why do people do this to themselves.... – I pass this place every night, there is usually about 10-15 people waiting outside to get in. I ate here about 5 years ago and the food was not good and the service was so-so. I decided to give it another try since I am dating a Japanese girl and wanted to know what she thinks. Poor sushi, poor service – I can't imagine why there is a frequent line at this joke of a sushi bar. the fish was below average, and to top it off the sushi "chefs" were arguing with one another, making the environment uncomfortable. my advice: avoid this spot. try sushi gen or R23 in little tokyo.
One of the best spicy tuna rolls - but gotta be patient – Just get there before 7PM and you should get a good seat. Be patient and try their spicy tuna rolls. One of the best in town. The servers can be unfriendly and if you call for takeout and they put you on hold forever, don't hang up. Trust me.

Great sushi....... – It's one of those hole in the wall spots that has amazing sushi for a great price.........not the best ambiance and service but doable.
Blech – Their nigiri sushi is okay and their sashimi and salads are also okay, but the quality of their rice is not good and they put way too much rice. The rolls were nasty last time I went there, rice was overcooked and sticky and again, way too much of it.
My Wish for dinner at Crazy Fish – Wow! This place has incredible food. The Spicy Salmon Tempura Roll is to die for. Even though the atmosphere isn't the greatest, it's still a really fun place to come. They have wonderful dinners, such as the salmon plate, or the chopped Spicy Slamon salad, loaded with salmon, carrots, and more! It's a great place to come for a casual date.
