The Swamp Shack has a variety of food: salads, chicken, sandwiches, burgers (bacon, jalapenos, gator and crawfish mixed in the meat), steaks and specializing in fresh gulf seafood. We have several cajun items, Gumbo, Jambalya, Etouffee and Crawfish. 95% of our items are made from scratch. For example, it takes 12 hours to make our black roux for our gumbo. We take a lot of pride in our food. My favorite item is the Shrimp & Oyster Diablo; a shrimp, oyster and 1/2 Jalapeno wrapped in bacon deep fried and basted in BBQ sauce. ... read more

Great atmosphere with a view of the marina, staff and service was amazing super friendly and helpful suggesting options and made us aware of the specials, music playing was great and not obnoxiously loud, TVs had sports playing (always a plus) Menu had a lot of delicious looking food options. The Pontchartrain sauce is amazing!! Snow crab clusters were $9.99 each solo (Tuesday special 6-10pm) and we definitely partook in 6 of 'em in mild spice and extra spice on the side. The manager was very friendly, the food was great. The bread pudding is so delicious. Service good menu covers lots of different items. We had the lunch fried shrimp. Was very good. Red beans and rice. We will definitely be back.
