I saw Dr Crain for several months for debilitating knee pain. He gave me cortisone shots and sent me to PT. PT lasted a few weeks, was very painful, and was stopped because the physical therapist diagnosed it as a miniscus tear. Crain would not consider surgery and was brusque and in and out of visits in a matter of minutes. Very thorough and took time to show what was happening with my knee.
He took a conservative approach and the cortisone injection went right to the trouble spot. Felt better by the time I got home.
Visit was smooth and accomplished what I needed. Dr. Crain explained possible options starting with least invasive and going to more complex. I was very pleased with my visit.
Long but worth it. He is a great doctor.
I appreciated that Dr. Crain allowed me to be with my 85-year-old mother in the exam to encourage and comfort her. It was beneficial to both of us...and maybe Dr. Crain, as well.

Thoroughly, concisely and clearly explained-Who, what, when, why and how, plus everything written down and handed to you. Then again asks if any concerns, questions! Plus call numbers for any questions after visit!
Dr. crain provided me great care and listened to my needs from diagnosis through recovery. My knee feels much better and I am back to my old activities!
