Dr. McKirgan did my bilateral knee replacements and I could not be more pleased with the results. He never gives you the impression that he is rushed during any office or hospital visit and his work, (reviewed by my son - an orthopedic surgeon in NC) is excellent. Dr. McKirgan is kind, caring and an excellent surgeon. I give him my highest recommendation. I had a quick recovery and am now able to walk miles with absolutely no pain.

I had a hip replacement in January 2016 by Dr. McKirgan. He is excellent. He has great people skills, is focused, very clear in his explanations, thorough, and has an outstanding support staff. There was a seamless interface with Indiana Regional Medical Center where the surgery was preformed. The staff provided a very smooth transition to a residential rehab facility. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He has also treated other members of my family. All were very pleased.

I was very pleased with the whole experience. Dr mckirgan did an excellent job. The staff at indiana regional were great. I am so glad I chose our home town hospital instead of traveling out of town.

DR MCKIRGAN PERFORMED TWO TOTAL KNEE REPLACEMENTS, JUNE 28,2015 & FEB 22,2016. SATISFIED WITH BOTH OPERATIONS. DR MCKIRGAN EXPLAINED IN DETAIL THE SURGERY PROCEDURES, ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS BEFORE THE FIRST SURGERY. DR MCKIRGAN HAS FOLLOW UP VISITS TO CHECK ON THE PROGRES OF BOTH OPERATIONS. MORE THEN WELL SATISFIED WITH BOTH PRODECURES AND THE QUALITY OF HIM, HIS STAFF.

Offers pre surgery therapy for 6 weeks. meet with the hospital orthopedic unit to learn what to expect while in the hospital. Physical therapy is set up for after the procedure and you go to the location to meet with and are told what to expect. All of these things help to make this surgery a procedure that you are prepared for. My results were wonderful and Dr.McKirgan is at the top of my Doctor list.

Dr. McKirgan was my surgeon for total hip replacement March 31, 2015. He explained with care and clarity the procedure, risks, pre-op preparation, and post-op expectations and regimen. He outlined a comprehensive treatment program which could be carried out largely by the Joint Center at IRMC which provided me continuity, convenience and support. I had a post-op concern which he immediately addressed. A year later I am pain free and back to most activities.
