RecommendedI wouldn’t go anywhere else!! This hospital is amazing... the work they do, the compassion they show is unlike any other!! I just had lung surgery and with the covid going around I had to stay alone but the staff were there for me way beyond what their job required of them!!
Their caring hearts! Its not easy providing the service they do, but they do it and they do it at the Excellence level.
Absolute HORRIBLE management team. You have staff that is classified by the CDC as "high risk" and yet you send them to COVID clinics knowing this and knowing they might have members of their households who are also high risk. You claim your motto is "Know me, Care for me, Ease my way" and you do NOTHING to protect your staff, especially during such a difficult time! You say you care about your caregivers. Then why are you making employees who are high risk work in COVID 19 clinics? Shouldn't you work to shield that part of your community? Isnt your work place culture based on caring for others, including the people who work for you? This treatment of vulnerable employees who have given their life in service to others is not compassionate, it is not dignified it's shameful, is not just, is in no way an example of excellence, and shows no integrity what so ever. I have worked at every hospital in Lubbock and I have chosen Covenant because they truly care about their patients & Caregivers. I am so proud of how our administration not only constantly planning for the community but are finding ways to keep our staff safe during this crisis. Finding ways for our Caregivers to help them find childcare ($$ assistance) and for our staff to get money for their spouses lost money because of COVID-19 awesome place
Best place to serve and receive excellent care
first of all I brought my mother in for vomiting and chest pain. I was telling the nurse mom chest was hurting. the doctor comes in and gets in my face. he said i needed to leave and calm down. i tried and he blocked me in wouldn't let me leave. then my mom asked him to let me stay and they told her no. knowing she was in pain. and needed me . something has to be done with these doctor attitudes
