Most Knowlegable Staff – This place has a great wine list and the people working really know what they're pouring. The ambience is striking with wood floors and wine bottles everywhere.
Not consistent – Unfortunately, I have to give Cova an average rating because I had one really wonderful experience there that was later followed by a terrible experience. The wines are great, and the staff seems knowledgeable. I would recommend this place if you have a small group or a very large group that requires a reservation. The best of the best – Cova is a rare gem of a place. You can walk in by yourself sit at the bar and twenty minutes later be engrossed in delightful conversation with new friends while trading favorite wines. The wines are fantastic. You are sure to find a new favorite every time you go, the food is delicious portion sizes are perfect for either individual or couple. Amazing – WOw, this place is something else!!!! You can eat awesome food, drink highly allocated wines and only spned retail prices causew its a retail store too!!!!! They blow Specs prices and wines out of the water!!! You have gotta try this place, its THE place to see and be seen.
Thats all I can Say is WOW!!! What a great place. You can eat amazing food, drink FABULOUS wines and poeple watch while talking to the quite friendly staff. Not only are they friendly but fairly konwledgable in the wine realm. If you want a great wine bar this is your first and last stop. Look no further.
Eat, Drink and be Merry – Wonderful wine and excellent food. If you are looking to try several different wines I highly recommend ordering a flight this will allow you to taste three different wines at a price far less than ordering three seperate glasses of wine. The wine menu changes every friday so each time you dine or drink here you are guranteed a new experience. Cova is an oexcellent place for a first date, girls night out or just a night out with your sweetheart.
Not the best wine bar, but love the location – I think I might've enjoyed Cova more had I gone with different company such as a date or larger group of friends and not sat outside. The harsh sidewalk lighting doesn't really jive with a wine bar. Other critiques are a forgetful and underinformed waiter and prices that exceed the quality of the wines, when compared to other local options. Still, it's in my neighborhood, and I love that parking is so easy. Next time, I'll go with friends, sit inside and enjoy some tapas.
