Cozy, comfy rooms with a nice sized frig and microwave. Beds have lots of covers and extra blanket and pillow available in room. We stayed on the 3rd floor and there was bare Sheetrock and no wallpaper. Apparently mid-renovation. We thought the price should be discounted since it's a bit unfinished. However, would definitely stay there again!
We stay in a lot of hotels - rooms are ok at best. The pool is fine but "The Warden" or the employee they have watching it (like a hawk) made the whole experience a joke. She spent more time telling our kids what they couldn't do before they had even attempted to try it, then stood there to make sure "her rules" were followed - very uncalled for I thought. The property is currently being remodeled and is impressive when you walk in but the rooms are not nearly as impressive.
We stay here every year love it. Kids love the water slide. A little let down this year hot tub not working.
Very nice staff and room. Great to have the kiddy pool for young kids.
The room was fine and clean, however had a hard time with hot water a couple of the mornings. The biggest thing that drove me nuts though was the fact that I left some left overs on the dresser for the next day. I drove the 15 minutes from my training facility back to the hotel to eat my left overs only to find that the maid threw out my food. I complained to the manager about the fact that I had now wasted 30 minutes of my lunch break and now had to go pay for food. He apologized but did nothing. Customer service really see... read more
