Country Inn & Suites Duluth North/Hermantown is outstanding. When a company says they careI think; Really? I have used this Country Inn location to put on seminars for almost three years. There isn't one staff person who hasn't put me before anything he/she was doing. They treat my clients like each one of them is the guess who is booked the honeymoon suite. The staff was wonderful, helpful, & very friendly. Room was large & comfortable. They allowed our large dog, and adored her with treats when we'd pass by to go outside. Only improvement I could recommend is better preparation for the breakfast rush; the hot breakfast was constantly empty & my family had to go without so settled for some muffins or bagels.
Everything seemed fine until my son found a sock in our bed in the morning that didn't belong to anyone in the group. That is extremely disgusting.
We stayed here for the first time as we were in the Duluth area visiting the Christmas attractions. I don't have any complaints, my stay was well worth it! The best part was, and I would love to recognize staff member Regina. She was in the pool area walking around introducing herself and getting to know all the family and children. She had the kids laughing and was having fun right along with everyone else. She was handing out towels when needed and offered other kids to play with pool toys, compliments of the hotel.
